Delta Zeta Sorority was founded in 1902 at Miami University. Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton, and Anne Simmons were among the first women admitted to the university when they formed Delta Zeta.
The Alpha Theta chapter at the University of Kentucky has a rich history, as does Delta Zeta nationally. The Alpha Theta chapter was founded in May 1923 and is one of the oldest chapters on campus.
As a chapter, we strive to donate our time and talents, give charitably to speech and hearing philanthropies, and enrich our lives through leadership, social engagement, and sisterhood.
