Global Mission
Delta Zeta’s mission is to raise awareness of hearing, speech, and communication disorders. Every Delta Zeta chapter raises funds through different philanthropy events. Funds raised go to a variety of non-profit organizations.
Since 2015, Delta Zeta chapters have raised over $5.5 million benefiting the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Local Impact
Uniquely, our chapter has a local philanthropy. We raise funds to benefit and volunteer weekly during the academic year at the Hearing & Speech Center.
The Hearing & Speech Center has been in Lexington, Kentucky since 1960.
It Starts With Us
Our chapter has hosted the Mr. University of Kentucky pageant since 1999. In addition to our male beauty pageant, we have raised money through other events including DZ Dogs, DZ Dodge (a dodgeball tournament), DZ Drive-In (on campus movie night), and Turtle Tug (tug-of-war competition).
Our chapter events raise funds for The Hearing & Speech Center, Starkey Hearing Foundation, the Delta Zeta Foundation, and more!
